To stop the DPF Regen process press the clutch down or simply remove the wire bridge from 2 pin plug. Let it run for 3 min before turning off. IMPORTANT: Must be done outdoors. I clear the code and the mil light goes out for about 10 seconds then comes back on. we live in France and the mazda dealer took a look at the car, replaced all 4 injectors and the oxygen sensor, cleared the faults but the lights came back on as soon as it goes in a long journey.

Ours have had trouble with the feed wires to the aftertreatment module (MaxxForce DT) on the 2010. On a bus, the DPF is the manufacturers problem during the 5 year warranty. Also, I believe there is a 5 year Federal thing on emissions if your engine warranty is not 5 years. No problems with the DPF on my propane bus.
Please find the alternative method to removing the "oil maintenance due" warning light on a Mazda 6. My car no longer has the settings to reset the oil maintenance light in the owners manual. You do not need any tools or reset equipment. Note: no other buttons or pedals should be pressed.
