Few performance cars can match the Evo IX in terms of bang for the buck. When new, the car retailed for about $30k before options. The car has proven to hold its value steadily, and today, more than 16 years later, well-used copies in good condition fetch about $30k. Clean ones in good condition can go for up to $45k.

The Evo is just a touch better at turn in and the G35 is way behind the STI/Evo in pretty much every aspect. I wonder what the handling verdict would be between STI/Evo if both were equipped with coilovers as I felt the Evo has noticeably stiffer spring/shock than the STI. Chick factor : RX7 no contest.
Way more time attack evos then M3s, more parts, cheaper prices and a bunch of 9-10second street evos. All round though M3s are nice cars. You get the leather, the image, easy cruising and some speed to back it up. But Evos are significantly cheaper then M3s even compared to e46s.
